The purpose of science in the paradigms of proof, interpretation and criticism, although they are clear, but they are different. The purpose of science in the affirmative paradigm is to explain, in the interpretive paradigm to understand and interpret behavior, and in the critical paradigm to change phenomena and liberate people. Now the question is, assuming the acceptance of the "Islamic paradigm of human sciences", what is the purpose of science in it? In this research, we have used the method of text analysis, and the basis of the work is that questions are raised first, and then we search for answers in the Quran and related hadiths. In the method of text analysis, the relationship between referring to the text and drawing conclusions about each article is two-way and repeated; That is, I start searching the text by posing a question, and after reading the text, it is possible that the understanding of one verse can complete, correct, and sometimes change the understanding of another verse. The result is that the goal of the Islamic paradigm of science, according to the verses of the Qur'an and related traditions, is individual and social reform with a scientific language; Because the world of nature and the social system can be explained and understood so that they can be modified to do their work well. The solution to reform is the correct explanation and accurate understanding of natural phenomena in the system of nature; and correct explanation, accurate understanding, constructive criticism of social events and informing people and elements of the system about their duties and responsibilities in the social system.
