Notes The International XXI Congress convened in Patis (23-31 July) in 1948. Orientalists Congress, upon the proposal of Turkish delegates, XXII. He decided to hold the congress in Istanbul. The Turkish Ministry of National Education invited Istanbul University to organize the Congress - in cooperation with Ankara University, Turkish Language Association and Turkish Historical Society. The congress will convene in the buildings of Istanbul University Faculty of Law and Economics under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Mr. Celill Bayar (15-22 September 1951).
