The excavations we carried out in Side, the most important port city of the ancient Pamphylia region, continued from September 21, 1947 to October 25, 1947, and the research was mainly concentrated in three places. At the tip of the cape on which the city was built and at the seaside, two temples were found in the area that has long attracted the attention of travelers due to the marble architectonic pieces it contains and is referred to as "marble grove" by the villagers.
