Notes
A significant portion of the cuneiform sources unearthed in various regions so far constitute legal and economic documents. Since legal and economic issues are directly related to the daily life of every community, it is natural that these issues have a relatively wide impact on the subject. Knowledge of cuneiform writing in its broad sense is the only specialization due to both the characteristics and differences of the writing according to the ages and the tribes from which it was transferred, the languages written with this script, the perceptions of the tribes speaking these languages, the differences in life views, and finally, due to the advances achieved in this field so far. It ceased to be a branch and many specialized branches emerged.
