Notes	The famous khafir of Ras-Shamra, C. Schaeffer, gave three-day controversial lectures at Ankara University Faculty of Languages, History and Geography on 8-10/X11/1947. Schaeffer accepted the chronology system based on comparative stratigraphy, the first examples of which we see among the publications of the Chicago Oriental Institute, and prepared his major work, which will be published soon, accordingly. Indeed, this system is one of the most useful methods to be applied to elucidate the mutual chronologies of major centers.
