Notes	In my first article (Belleten issue 37 page 133), I tried to indicate how the relations between the Ottomans and the Prussians were established, how they developed and the date when their most heated moments occurred, especially Mustafa III. I pointed out the efforts made by Koca Ragıp Pasha to establish Ottoman-Prussian relations. I also noted that at the end of these heated and serious negotiations, which lasted from 1758 to mid-1761, only a trade agreement could be concluded due to various reasons, but the alliance clause was not completely abandoned. However, Friedrich did not consider this agreement very profitable because he had not yet achieved the result he had hoped for. He immediately wanted to see the help of the Ottomans. For this reason, he said to the Marquis d'Argens, who congratulated him on the signing of the treaty: "Do not believe that the treaty will provide me with anything." However, he appreciated that the steps he had taken were not in vain and ordered his ambassador Rexin to use every means necessary to obtain the alliance treaty.
