It is a weekly Ottoman newspaper that talks about the articles of science, literature, science and civilization and the benefits of property and the state.
There is a special section for women at the end of the publication.
The first issues were 1-52 (14 March 1307-3 March 1308), "... published on Thursdays, a scientific and literary weekly illustrated newspaper. Owner: Kitabcı Karabet. Manager: Mehmed Rıza. Ser Writer: Sami. 19.5x27.3. 1313-1314, 1-52 issues There are also 4 pages of additions (the original numbers and additions are 22.5x32.5) and other topics are covered in each addition. The title is the same. However, Director: Andelip-Mehmed Rıza. Author: İbn Ri'at Samih. It has become 1313.1312 since the 2nd issue.
There is an extraordinary copy of the year 1315: "Extraordinary illustrated newspaper copy for the benefit of the needy Islamic people of Crete. It has the license numbered 43 of the Ministry of Education dated fi 26 Safer year 1315 and fi 15 July year 1313. Istanbul, Mahmud Bey Printing House, 1315. 164 p. 20x28 Illustrated"
There are explanations in French under some of the pictures. Especially the years 1312-1313.
