Sample Text The conditions of public toilets, which are an important part of daily life, significantly affect the quality of life of those who constantly use these facilities. Users approach the products in public toilets differently than the products in residential toilets and develop different ways of using them to deal with dirt. The aim of the study is to examine the relationship between the user's clean-dirty perception and product use in public toilets, while also demonstrating the usability of culture probes as a research method in this private and sensitive environment. The study, which considers the toilet as a cultural object that has an indispensable role in the realization of daily life practice, is expected to contribute to design research and practice with the method it uses and the approach it adopts., Public toilets have an important part in everyday life. Conditions of these facilities dramatically affect the quality of life of the users. Their approach to public toilets is different from domestic bathrooms and they develop different ways of use in order to deal with the dirtiness. While focusing on the relationship between the perception of cleanliness and product use in public toilets with a qualitative approach, this study aims to consider the usability of cultural probes as a research method in such a sensitive and private research setting. Considering public toilets as an indispensable part of daily life, the study is expected to contribute to design research and practice both in terms of approach and methodology.
