ITU Libraries Digital Collection consists of three main sections with its rich content focusing on the Ottoman Empire and the early Republic period. The Rare Works Collection, which inherited the Engineering School and the Engineering School, is the primary source for science, technology, architecture and art history studies with approximately 6,000 books and periodicals dating back to the 18th and 20th centuries. The majority of Prof. Dr. The Map and Geographical Materials Collection, donated by Celal Şengör, contains approximately 5,000 geological maps in Turkish, Chinese, Russian and English. The Ottoman Empire Public Works Projects section, which constitutes the last leg of the archive, makes available to researchers the plans, sections and contracts of infrastructure projects such as railways, water networks and bridges in the last period of the empire.
