The Seal Database, implemented by the Turkish Manuscripts Association (YEK), is an open-access digital platform that offers visual and detailed data of the seals in the manuscripts and printed works in the institution's wide collections to the use of researchers. This system, which includes various seal types such as personal, foundation, inspection and appropriation (ownership), brings together high-resolution images of the seals, detailed evaluations and catalog information of the copies they contain. This database, which is open to the use of academics and history enthusiasts without requiring any membership, constitutes a unique resource for researchers who want to track the ownership and ownership history (provenance) of historical artifacts and constantly enriches its content with the addition of new scanned seals.
