Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation

Al-Furqan Islamic Heritage Foundation, a non-profit organization registered in England and Wales, was established in London in 1988 by the Yamani Cultural and Charitable Foundation under the leadership of the late Sheikh Ahmed Zaki Yamani (may God rest his soul), the founder and patron of both institutions. Al-Furqan, whose projects and activities are supported by the Yamani Cultural and Charitable Foundation, has the vision of becoming a leading institution in the field of preservation and study of Islamic written heritage. The basic mission of the foundation is; To identify, preserve, examine and publish the Islamic written heritage and to encourage research in this field. Aiming to raise awareness about the richness and importance of the Islamic heritage, the foundation carries out multifaceted activities such as researching and publishing important manuscripts, publishing bibliographic and encyclopedic works, organizing training courses, academic seminars and conferences. It has also created a comprehensive reference library with basic research tools necessary for the study of Islamic heritage and has launched an advanced online platform to enable researchers, academics and students around the world to more easily access the hidden treasures of Islamic civilization.
