e-manuscripta.ch is a portal to digitized manuscript materials from Swiss libraries and archives. Scope; The text ranges from manuscripts (single and collective) to individual and institutional correspondence, but also includes musical documents, manuscript maps, drawings and photographs. e-manuscripta.ch; It aims to digitize manuscript materials in Swiss libraries and archives in a coordinated manner in accordance with common quality standards, centrally transfer digital documents and descriptive metadata to the portal, permanent DOI referencing of electronic documents, present transcriptions together with a wide range of document types in a common portal, and implement an open access strategy. The portal was launched in 2013; It was developed and funded collaboratively by three Swiss university libraries: Zentralbibliothek Zürich, Universitätsbibliothek Basel and ETH Library. The portal continues to be managed jointly by these three institutions together with the Swiss National Library (NL). Many other institutions have also expanded the range of materials hosted on the portal by making their collections accessible.
