Universitat de Girona

The Library of the University of Girona (Biblioteca de la Universitat de Girona) is the primary information center supporting the university's learning, teaching and research activities in the Catalonia region of Spain. Consisting of three main branches (Barri Vell Library, Montilivi Library and Emili Grahit Campus Library) spread across the university's three main campuses, Barri Vell, Center and Montilivi, the system is managed with a modern "Centre for Learning and Research Resources" (CRAI) model. The library, which has large collections of printed and electronic resources, also manages the institutional digital archive system called "DUGi" (Dipòsit Digital de la Universitat de Girona), which collects and preserves the university's scientific production, institutional documents and local cultural heritage in a digital environment and makes them available for open access.
