Alnadeem - مخطوطات العربية

"Alnadeem" (النديم) is a comprehensive unified bibliographic database for Arabic and Islamic manuscripts, managed by the Arab Manuscripts Institute in Cairo (affiliated with the Arab League). This platform is a giant online catalog that contains not the full texts of the works, but detailed metadata (imprints) of the copies in libraries around the world. Its main purpose is to enable researchers to query the name, author, subject, and most importantly in which collection (with library and shelf number) of a work, from a single place. "Alnadeem", named after the famous bibliographer Ibn al-Nadīm, who wrote the comprehensive book catalog "Al-Fihrist" in the 10th century, is a vital reference source for modern researchers in tracing manuscripts.
