Layout: 19-22 long lines.
Script: Written in rapid naskh in black ink; pointed.
Decoration: Rubrications in red with numerous geometrical drawings and tables.
Origin: Some items in the collection (1, 2, 3, 6, 7) are dated and were copied between 1106 and 1107 AH (1695-1696 CE) (f. 16v, 25v, 36v, 69r, 76v). The last work says that the collection was gathered by Yūnus ibn Aḥmad al-Dajānī (f. 101v).
Shelfmark: MS Or 285.
Three loose leaves belonging to this manuscript were formerly inserted in MS Or 278, and have been returned to this volume.
The copyist for most of the works in this collection consistently spells asṭurlāb with an extra tāʼ before the ṭāʼ.
