Notes
Title from Poleman.
Includes 9 full-page well-painted colour miniatures, showing Persian influence although the manuscript is probably of Indian origin. There is the usual literary arrangement or sequence of text, history, and picture of the deity. Ganesh, the elephant-headed god of good luck comes in first place.
The first 9 pages are numbered with Roman numerals, but for the remaining ones, the numbering is done in Sanskrit for the leaves on the lower left corner of the left hand pages, which go from left to right.. Each page of text is enclosed by red frames with six lines of text on each page.
