Notes Explicit : فصل دوىم دانستن لغات آدوىات Manuscript. Title from page 369, date and the place of the copy from page 368. Clear Indian nastaʻlīq, rubricated in red. 15 lines per page. Divided into 43 chapters (bāb) and subdivided into faṣl. Catch words, includes some marginal notes and corrections. Contains a diagram on the geographic directions for Rijāl al-Ghayb (page 178). Poetical surname of the author is Bahādur, which appears in the versified preamble (pages 2-7). Alternative title is Bāz-nāmah. Contains eulogies to the Prophet, the Sufi master 'Abdul Qādir Gīlānī, and on the reigning sovereign Aurangzab. Includes an explanatory note by the author on how the book was written (pages 10-11). Written upon the request of the author's master Ja'fer Beg, and his friend La'l Beg as mentioned in the preface (page 10), Includes table of contents (pages 16-19) and an index (pages 351-370). A note by the author indicates the book was written between 1680 and 1692 (page 367). A note by the transcriber indicates his full name, copy date (1844) and explains upon the request of Shams al-Dīn Ṣāhib he transcribed the book (page 369).
