Compare circumstances of transcription for Isl. Ms. 565, executed by the same copyist., Death notice, inscribed by the son of the deceased, found on verso of second front flyleaf, and dated 14 Rajab 1142 [ca. 2 February 1730] reads: “In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to God in every situation, and prayers and peace be upon our master, our support, and our intercessor in the future and the future, Muhammad and his companions, and his family is the best of companions and the best of the trustworthy. He has passed away with death to the mercy and satisfaction of God Almighty and may he rest [...?] in paradise in the highest heaven. My father, my sheikh, and my guide, Hajj Muhammad Nour Allah, the mufti of his mountain and the most honorable sheikh of the shrine. He is the Imam. Teachers and educators of disciples, on the morning of the blessed Thursday, which is the fourteenth of the sacred month of Rajab, in the year one hundred and forty-two AH.
