Praise be to God, who has no Creator of things except Him and no Sustainer of the living except Him... Now, a group of distinguished companions and noble lineages asked me to compile a brief summary of the virtues of Al-Shafi’i Al-Muttalabi, may God be pleased with him, and in the preponderance of his doctrine. So I compiled this summary...”, Explicit: “So we prove that what they wrote [?] is an argument for them, so it is an argument for us against them, and God knows best, and I know that the obligation [in] specifying issues and enumerating them is not appropriate for this book.
