Abu Bakr bin Ismail Al-Shanwani... These are the senses [footnotes] that I placed on the students’ guide to the rules of parsing by the scholar Sheikh Khalid Al-Azhari, known as Al-Waqad... I called him the guidance of those with understanding. To guide students to the rules of parsing...”, Explicit: “But it has been established by analogy with the Almighty, and this amount is sufficient for those who contemplate it with knowledge... Praise be to God who has guided us to this, and we would not have been guided if God had not guided us.
