Velkov Aigle no.1/1A dated 1657, as well as what may be a Paschal lamb (see p.270, 282, 300, 320, 354, etc.) ; lightly burnished ; fairly thick ; some undissolved fibers and inclusions., Binding: Pasteboards covered in black cloth with black leather over spine (quarter binding) ; Western binding ; board linings and flyleaves in a green wove paper ; spine gold-stamped with title and author ; spine ridges (four) gold-stamped with pattern of dashes, flanked by gold bands ; original sewing difficult to discern, at some point sewn in white thread, but later oversewn ; endbands entirely lacking (may be holes where primaries were stitched) ; in fair condition, with some abrasion to cover ; text block is in poor shape with much pest damage, accretions, and many poor repairs utilizing adhesives that resulted in some blocking ; some scraps with writing used in repairs., Shelfmark: Ann Arbor, University of Michigan, Special Collections Research Center, Isl.
