In this copy, with no author's name provided, the author states that he entitled his book ʻAlāʼi in honor of ʻAlāʼ-al-Dawlah of Ṭabaristān. The Nuzhat-nāmah is mentioned in the Faraḥ-nāmah of al-Jamāli and ascribed to Shahr-mardān al-Mustawfi (cf. Br. Mus.
