Notes
The manuscript was in the ownership of ʿAlī Efendi ibn al-Ḥāǧǧ Ismāʿīl Efendi al-Malṭī (notice on fol. 6v), known as the keeper of the tomb (türbedar) of Aḥmed Ṭurān (4 th/10th c.), whose tomb was erected during the reign of Abdülmecid (r. 1839-1861). It was purchased by the Library from Rafael Danglmajer in 1950, Begins with: (٥ب) بسم اللـه الرحمن الرحيم الحمد للـه رب العالمين والصلوة والسلام على خير حلقه محمد واله اجمعين اعلم ان الحساب اربع منازل احاد وعشراة وماءت والوف فالاحاد من واحد الى تسعة والعشرات من عشرة الى مائة والمئات من مائة الى تسعمائة والالوف من الف الى تسعة الاف, Copyist note: (٦ب) تم تم, Ends with: (٦ب) ثم ما جمع ذلك كله مائة وستة وخمس وعلى هذا فقس الباقى وهذا المقدار يكفيك, The second tract in a collected volume of six treatises, On fol. 5r unrelated texts in Arabic and Ottoman Turkish
