(vertical, somewhat distinct, some curving) and no chain lines visible, cloudy formation, inclusions visible, crisp, transluscent and sturdy, highly sized and burnished to glossy, buff in color ; flyleaves in two different European laid papers., Binding: Pasteboards covered in forest green leather ; Type II binding (with flap) ; board linings and outer flyleaves in light-blue surface-dyed, gold-flecked European laid paper ; upper and lower covers carry gold tooled border in a series of s-shaped stamps flanked by gold fillets ; sewn in red thread, two stations ; only portion of worked headband remains, tailband gone ; overall in fair condition with some abrasion, staining, lifting of leather, etc., Former shelfmark: "9 T.
