Added t.-p. in Persian., The Haft-bābi Bābā Sayyid-nā was composed ca. 1200, and is falsely attributed to Bābā Sayyidnā (Hasan ibn al-Ṣabbah, d. 1124). The real author is unknown., The attribution of the Matlūb al-muʼminīn to Nasīr al-Dīn Tūsī is tentatively accepted by Ivanov, cf. p. 7., It is sometimes attributed also to Abū Isḥāq; but it is not to be confused either with the genuine Haft-bāb Abū Ishāq, which was composed not earlier than the end of the 15th century, or with the spurious later version known under the same title. cf. Ivanov's Introduction, p. [1]-2, and his edition of the Kalāmi pīr, Bombay, 1935, Introduction, p. xxi-xxii, and Addenda, p. lix-lxiii.
