“This is the only interpretation that combines the authentic hadith with the clear and reasonable one that clarifies the rule of legislation and the laws of God regarding man, and the fact that the Qur’an is a guidance for mankind in every time and place, and it balances its guidance with what the Muslims in this era did when they turned away from it, and what their predecessors who held fast to it did, taking into account ease of expression, avoiding mixing speech with the terminology of the sciences and arts so that the general public understands it and does not dispense with it for the private, and this is the method that was followed in his lessons in Al-Azhar, the sage of Islam, Professor Imam Sheikh Muhammad Abduh.”--Title page.

Interpretation of the Holy Qur’an, known as Tafsir Al-Manar: Part Two. It contains a summary of what Professor Al-Imam said in his lessons at Al-Azhar Mosque, and he read more than half of it before and after its publication - Part Three. The first part is “Those Messages” and it contains the best of what Professor Al-Imam said - Part Four. The beginning of it is “Eat food” and it contains the best of what Professor Imam said in his lessons. We have based the number of verses in it on the Qur’an printed in Germany and we differentiate between them by two points - Part Five. The first part is “the chaste women” and it contains the best of what Professor Al-Imam said in his lessons at Al-Azhar. We based the number of verses in it on the Qur’an printed in Istanbul and the Qur’an printed in Germany, and we differentiated between them by two points - Part Six. The beginning of it is “God does not like public evil.” We based the number of verses in it on the Qur’an printed in Istanbul and the Qur’an printed in Germany, and we differentiated between them by two points - Part Seven. The beginning of it is “You will find the most hostile of people.” We based the number of verses in it on the Qur’an printed in Constantinople and the Qur’an printed in Germany, and we distinguished between them by two points - Part Eight. The beginning of it is “Even if We had sent down to them the angels.” We based the number of verses in it on the Qur’an printed in Astana and the Qur’an printed in Germany, and we differentiated between them by two points.
