Notes
The manuscript was in the ownership of ʿAbd al-Laṭīf (d. 1946) who bought it for two piastres (qurūš) in 1317/1900, notice on inside back cover and fol. 17r (dated 28 Šawwāl 1317 [28 February 1900]). It was entered into the inventory book of Oriental manuscripts in 1961, Begins with: (125b) This is the book of Hajj rites, in the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and in it we seek help, and upon it we rely. Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and the end is for the righteous, and may God Almighty’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and all his companions. Do you want the book of Abu Hanifa, may God be pleased with him, say Ozrah Hajj, Ends with: (131a) Acceptance of Elijah Amin, God willing, the final work in a collected volume containing ten, often incomplete, treatises on various subjects, mainly related to Islamic law and theology
