The manuscript was in the ownership of Ḥasan Efendi (fol. 1r), Begins with: (1b) This is a modified book of prayer. In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to God, who commanded my worship to establish prayers and amend them, and made them the head of the religion, the foundation of Islam, and its best works... (2a) If I were a letter in which I showed the evidence of existence and the afflictions of abandonment..., Copyist note: (17b) It was completed with the help of God the King. Al-Wahhab to the Mercy of His Book is not for the sinful Abd al-Dha`if, who is in need of the mercy of God Almighty, Mahmoud bin Muhammad, in the school of Sultan Muhammad in the year 1123, Ends with: (17b) The Messenger of God, peace be upon him, saw a man praying behind the row, found him, and ordered him to repeat the prayer.
