In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful - Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of the people - the King of the people - the God of the people - from the evil of the deceitful whisperer - the one who whispers in the hearts of the people - from Paradise and people, Colophon (13v): Praise be to God for its completion - the best peace be upon His Messenger - written by the poor and despicable Mr. Ahmed Al-Nuhayfi, the Hafiz of the Clear Qur’an - one of the students of Mustafa Al-Shakri, may God forgive him - the blank has occurred, the twenty-third noble Musaf - the sixteenth day of the glorious month of Shaban - in the year 1245.
