Ink: The work is written in black ink. Red ink was used in the chapter headings. There is verse and bibliography information on leaf 1a. The work's abdication/copying record is found on folio 98b. Name of the annotated work: Kâsidetü'l-bürde / Bûsîrî, İmam Muhammed b. Said. Egyptian Sufi and poet Muhammad b. Saîd el-Bûsîrî's Hz. The poem he wrote for the Prophet and called el-Kevâkibü'd-dürriye fî medḥi ḫayri'l-beriyye is called al-Ḳaṣîdetü'l-mîmiyye because the rhyme (revî) letter is mim, and Ḳaṣîdetü'l-bürde because it helped the poet recover from his illness. It is one of the important Turkish commentaries of his famous work. |
