Date of recitation: 15 Dhu al-Hijjah 1163H (15 November 1750). Written area size: 130x73 mm. The lines are different. Type of writing: The work is written legibly in naskh script. Ink: The work is written in black ink. Red ink was used in the titles. The name of the work was determined from leaf 1b. The work's abdication/copying record is on page 95a. At the end there are 2 leaves of hatime-i prayer. It is one of the oldest Arabic-Turkish dictionaries and is also known as Lugat-ı Firişteoğlu, Lugat-ı Firiştezâde and Lugat-ı İbn Firişte. The work, written in verse by the author for his grandson Abdurrahman, consists of twenty-two stanzas, and in most of it, the Turkish equivalents of 1528 Arabic words mentioned in the Holy Quran are given.
