Text type: The work is written legibly in Talik calligraphy. Ink: The work is written in black ink. Different colored ink was used in the chapter headings. The name of the work was determined from leaf 1b. The work's abdication/copying record is on page 141a. Sufi masnavi of Ferîdüddin Attâr (d. 618/ 1221). The work, which consists of slightly more than 5000 couplets, was written in thirty-one chapters (articles) in remel bahri. After an introduction devoted to praise, tawhid, munajat, na't, and the praise of the four caliphs and companions, the mesnevi begins with a hello to the hudhud and ends with a sermon recorded to have been completed on the 20th day of the month of Rajab in the year 583 (September 25, 1187). This work, also known as Maḳāmât-ı Ṭuyûr, Maḳālâtü'ṭ-ṭuyûr or Ṭuyûrnâme and written in 1187, is a masnavi that describes the belief in unity of existence in a representative way. The birds in this masnavi represent the devotees. Hüdhüd is the guide, that is, the guide. Simurgh (thirty birds = phoenix) is the emergence and determination of Allah.
