Sample Text
"Habîbî Ahmed Efendi, one of the 16th century scholars, translated Eş-Şakâ'iku'n-Nu'mâniyye, one of the most read biography sources in the Ottoman field, from its Arabic original into Turkish in 1564, six years after it was written, and named his work ed-Devhatü'l-irfâniyye fî-Ravzati Ulemâ'i'l-Osmâniyye. The translation in question is the first known complete translation of al-Şakâ'iku'n-Nu'mâniyye, although the translator preferred a free translation method in his translation, prepared by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ramazan Ekinci under the editorship of Prof. Dr. Derya Örs. The publication of ed-Devhatü'l-İrfâniyye was based on the manuscript numbered TY 148 in the National Library of Egypt, the only copy that has survived to the present day." -- Publisher.
