Sample Text
"There are not many works in which the authors of the Ottoman Period describe their own lives independently. Especially in the 16th century and before, such narratives are too few to count on the fingers of one hand. The word 'ser-güzeştnâme', which means writing/genre that tells the events that people experience, is a literary genre that is used in the Ottoman literary tradition and is directly related to self-narratives. Tuhfetü'l-İhvân, written by a scribe who lived in the Ottoman capital in the second half of the 16th century, is among the leading examples of this genre.
