Sample Text The archery treatise written by the Sheikh of the Archers' Lodge, Fethizade Seyyid Mustafa Efendi, in the last quarter of the 18th century, unlike the known Ottoman period archery treatises, describes not only the famous archers of the period, but also the archers who were interested in archery but not famous, and the regulars of the Archers' Lodge. Seyyid Mustafa, who was also one of the leading calligraphers of the period, provides information that will shed light on the history of archery in this treatise, while also giving detailed and sometimes brief information about the social life of the period.
