The author's biographical information about himself (page 48v), about his father Kamāl ad-Dīn (page 49v) (d. 1110/1698-99); his grandfather ʿAlī (page 51r) (1044-1098/1634-1687 or 1099/1687-88), who was a Naqšbandī and the author of a Risāla of medical content; he was introduced into the order by šayḫ Muḥammad al-Kurdī al-Lārī; his great-grandfather Kamāl ad-Dīn (975-1056/1567-1646) (page 52r); his great-great-grandfather Muḥyī d-Dīn ʿAbd al-Qādir Ibn Muḥammad Ibn Badr ad-Dīn (d. 1r : Angaben zu Verfasser und Werk von Rudolf Tschudi und dessen Besitzereintrag, 1v-2r : leer, 2v : violetter Raster zu 9 x 6 Feldern, vorgezeichnet für einen fihrist, aber ohne Einträge, 3r : biographische Angaben zum Verfasser mit Angabe seiner Lebensdaten, sowie Werktitel, 3v-172v, 176r-396v : aḍ-Ḍiyāʾ aš-šamsī ʿalā l-Fatḥ al-qudsī wa-l-kašf al-unsī wa-l-minhāǧ al-qarīb ilā liqāʾ al-ḥabīb / Muṣṭafā al-Bakrī . Kommentar Muṣṭafā al-Bakrīs zu seinem eigenen Gebetbuch al-Fatḥ al-qudsī, das er 1122/1710 in Jerusalem verfasste (vgl. GAL II 458-459; EM II 448; für eine Inhaltsangabe dieses Werkes Berlin [Ahlwardt] 3784). Der aus zwei Teilen bestehende Kommentar aḍ-Ḍiyāʾ aš-šamsī wurde 1123/1711 begonnen und 1138/1725-26 in Istanbul vollendet. In der vorliegenden Handschrift scheinen nicht beide Teile vollständig vorzuliegen. Wie ein Vergleich mit der Kapiteleinteilung des Grundwerks bei Ahlwardt 3784 zeigt, fehlen die unter Nr. 5 und Nr. 5 angegebenen "wird al-išrāq" und "andere Gebetsanweisungen".
