Foliation in black ink using Arabic numerals ("354" on fol. 4). Foliation in pencil using Western numerals (omits the first fol.). Stained with water.Decoration: Now almost completely lost illumination on the first fol., with traces of a mandorla in blue and red filled with gold, and of an outer border in gold outlined in black and blue. Illuminated headpiece (ʻunwān) on fol. (i)b, elegantly exectuted in gold, blue, red, and black, and bearing the title of the sūrah, the number of its verses, and a basmalah.Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Tafsīr 10".
