Ms. codex.Title from text on fol. 1b.Partially torn labels on spine.Physical description: 19 lines per page; written in naskh in black on glazed, laid European paper. Rubrication and catchwords; a few marginal notes. Text block almost completely detached from binding. Foliated correctly in Arabic script, and foliated incorrectly in Western script; record follows the Arabic numbering. Light staining. In excellent condition.Origin: Copy completed 29 Shawwāl 1229 H [14 October 1814] (fol. 205b).Incipit: اين فرهنگى است مشتمل بر حل لغات غريبة عربية و عجمية مثنوى مولوى - Limp brown leather with blind-stamped central mandorla, pendants, and fillets. - Dictionary of difficult Arabic, Persian, Turkish, and Syriac words from Jalāl al-Dīn Rūmī's Mas̲navī, compiled from a number of sources, including the Farhang-i Jahāngīrī by Ḥusayn Injū Shīrāzī.
