Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥāʼ 1292".Origin: According to the colophon, copy completed in 816 H. (fol. 163b).Incipit: الحمد لله رب العالمين وصلوته على سيدنا محمد واله اجمعين وبعد فهذا كتاب فى علم البلاغة وتوابعها وترجمته بالايضاح وجعلته على ترتيب مختصرى الذى سميته تلخيص المفتاح وبسطت فيه القول ليكون كالشرح له ... مقجمة فى الكشف عن معنى الفصاحة والبلاغة وانحصار علم البلاغة فى علمى المعانى والبيان للناس فى تفسير الفصاحة - Brown leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers. Covered by marbled paper. Paper pastedowns. - Commentary on the author's abridgment of the third part of the Miftāḥ al-ʻulūm by al-Sakkākī (d. 626/1229), on rhetoric (al-maʻānī wa-al-bayān). The text is followed on fol. 164a-b by verses of poetry in Persian.
