Ms. codex.Title from leaf 1a by a later hand.Physical description: 14 lines per page, in two columns; written in nastaʻliq in black on tan glazed, laid Arabic paper. Catchwords; headings rubricated; marginal notes. Some insect damage and marginal damp staining.Origin: Likely late 18th century in India. Additional qaṣīdahs by a different hand are dated Shawwāl 1225 H [November 1810] in Akbarābād [Agra], by Sayyid ʻĀrif ʻAlī (leaf 104b).Incipit: اى مطاع درد در بازار جان انداخته * گوهر هر سود در جىب زىان انداختهExplicit: اى قوى برهان وسواست علىکم بالسواس * چشمه زهر هلاهل کردۀ ترىاک خوىش - Rebound in cloth. - Collection of the author's qaṣīdahs, incomplete at end. The text is followed by eight leaves of poetry by different hands, including an elegy for the Buwayhid ʻAḍud al-Dawlah (died 983) and a few poems by Muḥammad ʻAlī Ṣāʾib Tabrīzī (died around 1670).
