Notes	Ms. codex.Title from fol. 1a.Physical description: 21 lines per page; written in casual nastaʻliq in black on glazed, laid European paper. Rubrication and catchwords; a few marginal notes. Some staining and smudging, and a few paper repairs. In good condition.Origin: Rabīʻ I 1001 H [December 1592 or January 1593], by Mustafa bin Hasan (fol. 181b).Incipit: مطلع موزون كلام قديم محامد منظومۀ فصاحت نظام و مدايح منثورۀ بلاغت انتظام اول مفضى فيض و الهامه - Full brown leather with flap; blind-stamped central mandorla; gold-sprinkled yellow pastedowns and flyleaves. Edges and spine repaired. - This biography of some 300 Ottoman poets was composed in 953 H [1546 or 1547] and is divided into 3 sections: shaykhs who were poets; sultans and princes who were poets; and other poets.
