Gilt-framing on fols. 1b and 2a.Description: Rubricated ; watermarks ; MS in good condition.Layout: 20-21 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red.Ms. codex.Title from text (fol. 1b).Title page bears the name Dīwān al-Salṭī, but the introduction gives the title mentioned above. The first name of the author, Muḥammad, appears repeatedly in the text.Ending: فقلت يالله جرني من الناس * لان فيهم مثل العقاربIncipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم. الحمد لله الذي وهب اهل العقول مقام التمييز - Type II (with flap) binding in red leather. Gold-stamped mandorla with pendants, gold-stamped roundel on flap. Tooled edging. - Original poems, mostly on love, in seven different types of poetry, namely: dustūr, zajal, muwashshaḥ, qūma, kān wa-kān, al-dū-bayt and mawāliyā.

Fol. 1a bears several ownership signatures, two are dated 1136 and 1150, a reading statement from Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ... al-Ṣūfī dated 1152, and an owner's stamp. Two owner stamps and an owner signature above the headpiece (fol. 1b). Acquired from Brill, Leyden, 1900.
