Ms. codex.Title from the beginning of the text on fol. 6b.Copy completed on the 24th of Shawwāl 1118 (1707) -- colophon (fol. 75a).12 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is written in two columns, with verses written within one column first and then continuing to the other. Text is inside a frame outlined with one line of red ink, and columns are separated by two lines of red ink, except on ff. 6b-7a where the frame and the lines are in gold leaf outlined in black ink, with gold circles inside the text at the beginning and end of each couplet. Fol. 6b has an illuminated head piece in gold leaf with red, blue and orange watercolors. Glazed European paper. An ownership inscription in black ink on fol. 6a, in the name of Mehmet Sadik.Incipit: حمد اول الله عظيم الشانه مبدع دائرهء امكانهExplicit: چون ابو الخير قونلدي نامك خير ايده حضرت حق انجامك - Brown leather on covers with red leather on spine and around cover edges. Gold tooled mandorlas with pendants in the centre of upper and lower covers. Pastedowns in red paper with embossed and gilded pattern of floral and animal motifs. - Nabi's poem in Islamic ethics, dedicated to his son Ebulhayr and containing moral guidance on Islam and Islamic conduct of life.
