Notes Ms. codex.Title from fol. 1a.25 lines per page. Written in a fairly casual medium small nastaʻlīq in black and red ink. The text is inside a gold leaf frame outlined in black ink. Fol. 2b has an illuminated head piece executed in gold leaf with blue, red, orange, purple and white watercolors. No catchwords present. A short inscription (a short special prayer) on fol. 1a. An obliterated ownership statement in red ink and a stamp, also obliterated, on same fol. Glazed European paper. A fair amount of water damage to the paper, some of the text is smudged (see explicit) and many pages are stuck together.Incipit: اثنيهء تعظيم را وادعئ ترجى نما اول خداى بي همتايه وخالق كل اشيايه لايق سزادر كهExplicit: محصول بيت حق تعالى حضرتلرينك رحمتى ... روحنه اولسونكه بو نصيحتلرى چوق اوقيه تمت - Brown leather over pasteboard with envelope flap. Gold guilloche and two gold fillets around borders of covers. Central gold mandorlas with radiating sprigs around borders in gold ink. Same design on the envelope flap with a smaller mandorla. Pastedowns in yellow paper (with orange paper between the covers and the text block). - A commentary on Farīd al-Dīn ʻAṭṭār's mystical poem Pendname.
