Abstract: Treatise on iḥtisāb according to the Ḥanafī legal school, comprising 64 chapters (bāb). The dates of the author are uncertain. According to Brockelmann, he wrote after 993/1585 in Bukhārā. However, for Ziriklī, d. 696/1297. The modern editor of the text, M. Izzi Dien, dates the author to the 7th-8th c./13th-14th c. and argues that his nisbah should be read al-Sunāmī (The theory and practice of market law in medieval Islam, 1997). | Ms. codex. | more | less
