Notes The letter discusses four missing bales of broadcloth, blaming the naucuda (Arab captain) of one of the vessels that transported the Company's stocks from Gombroon [Bandar Abbas] to Bushire when withdrawing in 1763. It is suggested that compensation from the Sheikh of Lingo [Lingeh], where the captain was from, should be sought.
