Binding: Lacquered red paper over pasteboard (Type III) with gilt paper inlays on a central medallion and two pendants on the vertical axis, with a blind stamped frame. The central medallion is embossed with the binder's name and a formula of humility: al-ʻabd al-ḥaqīr Hakīm Mullā Khawājah Saḥḥāf. Marbled paper double. Green leather spine. | Decorative note: Polychrome headpieces in blue, yellow, gold, red, and green over text on first opening (f. 5v-6r); full page polychrome illustrations of the mosque at Mecca (f. 17v) and the Rawḍah at Medina (f. 18r); Textblock is gold sprinkled and bordered in blue, red, and gold rules; gold roundels punctuate text.
