Notes Recto: legal document describing the transactions related to a house originally belonging to the Amir Iftiḵar al-Dawla Mubārak al-Afdal al-Juyuši. Iftiḵar sold part of the house to a Melkite qissīs (clergyman), Abū l-Ḵayr b. Abū l-Fataḥ al-Nasrānī, and gave the rest to his daughter Sarwat. Abū l-Ḵayr al-Nasrānī sold his share to another Christian (Bariḵ al-Nasrānī), who gave it to his daughter Banīna. Banīna and Sarwat then sold their shares (i.e. the entire house) to Al-Rayyis al-Ajami and his wife, Sitt Aʿdāhā. Sitt Aʿdāhā then became the sole owner, and eventually sold it to her son-in-law Abū l-Karam. Abū l-Karam submitted the transactions to the court when his ownership was contested, ca. 1130 CE.
