The main correspondents are Shaikh Salim El Mubarak as Subah [Āl Ṣabāḥ, Shaikh Sālim bin Mubārak], Captain Percy Gordon Loch, the British Political Agent, Kuwait and Lieutenant Colonel Evelyn Berkeley Howell, the Deputy Civil Commissioner, Basra.
