| Notes | Letter regarding possible journey arrangements should Pelly return to India via the Balau and arranging for a party of Sowars to accompany him owing to the pass being unsafe for single travellers.The letter also refers to an enclosed telegram (no longer enclosed) which Green believes may relate to Pelly's intentions of travelling via the Persian Gulf.There are two postscripts to the letter:The first postscript is regarding a second telegram, which Green is enclosing (no longer enclosed) and commenting that 'the old Dost' (Dost Mohammad) appears not to like British OfficersThe second postscript discusses a person that may be mentioned by the Sirdar of Kandahar, who had previously been at Jacobabad before being turned out of Kandahar and informing Pelly he may tell the Sirdar that the man was turned out of Jacobabad too. | 2 folios | The folio has been turned horizontally for the postscripts to be written on the verso of it. | more | less |
